About
There are wonderful walks on the doorstep
in this wooded valley and on the open moor.
Chagford is one mile away as is Castle Drogo, the 20th century
castle now in National Trust ownership.
It is a perfect touring centre and day trips from here may
include the Eden Project and the North Cornish Coast or
Dartmouth, Totnes and the South Hams.
Parford Well is a 'no smoking' house and I regret is
not suitable for children under 8 years or for pets as there
is a dog in residence. |
